EASY EXCHANGE AND RETURNS 

At Nguni Homeware, we want you to love every item you purchase.
If you are not completely satisfied with your order, we’re here to assist within the framework of South African consumer law — ensuring fairness for both our customers and our business.

EXCHANGE POLICY

We gladly offer exchanges for eligible products under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: Exchanges must be requested within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, unassembled, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order confirmation is required.

  • Eligible Reasons for Exchange:

    • You received the wrong item.

    • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

    • You wish to exchange for a different colour, size, or design (if available).

Note: Customers are responsible for return courier costs for exchanges not caused by defects or errors on our part.

RETURN POLICY 

     Returns and refunds are accepted in accordance with the         Consumer Protection Act (68 of 2008) and the Electronic           Communications and Transactions Act (25 of 2002).     

      You are entitled to a return if:

  • The product is defective, unsafe, or not of acceptable quality.

  • The product does not match the description or image shown on our website.

  • The product was not delivered as ordered.

  • You cancel the purchase within 7 days of receiving it (online sales only, as per ECTA), provided the product has not been used or assembled.

Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
  • For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Assembled or custom-made furniture.
  • Clearance or sale items.

  • Products damaged due to incorrect assembly, misuse, or negligence after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Refunds are made using the original payment method only.

  • If applicable, delivery and handling fees are non-refundable.

Return & Exchange Process
  • Contact Us within 7 days at info@ngunihomeware.com with your order number and reason for return.

  • Our team will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

  • Package the item securely and use a trackable courier service.

  • Once received and inspected, we’ll process your exchange or refund promptly.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Report it within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Email us clear photos and your order details.

  • We will replace or repair the item at no cost to you, depending on availability and damage severity.

  • Returns sent without prior communication may not be accepted.
